Abstract
Anemia (in Greek: Without Blood) is a state when
the number of red blood cells or amount of hemoglobin (oxygen carrying protein)
in red blood cells is below normal. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin that
allows them to carry oxygen from the lungs, and deliver to all parts of the
body.
Iron deficiency can cause anemia, which
resulted in oxygen carried to the network decreases. Anemia leads to reduced
number of red blood cells or amount of hemoglobin in red blood cells, so that
blood can not transport oxygen in the body as needed. The result is a lack of
energy, lethargy, headaches, and dizziness. More anemia experienced by women
because the women happen to lose more iron due to blood loss during
menstruation. This can be prevented by eating foods that contain iron are quite
